What we believe
1728 · Bruno Miranda Music · Acts 17:28
1728 is a Christian music project. Everything produced under this franchise — every lyric, every theological framework, every creative decision — flows from the convictions stated below. We publish this statement not as a requirement, but as an act of transparency. If you are listening to this music, you deserve to know what it is and where it comes from.
These are sincerely held personal and organizational beliefs, stated publicly for transparency. They represent the theological perspective of this project and its producer. This statement is not intended to demean, diminish, or disrespect those who hold different beliefs.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This triune God is the creator and sustainer of all things, infinite in holiness, perfect in love, and sovereign over all creation.
We believe in Jesus Christ — fully God and fully human — who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and willingly went to the cross as the sufficient and complete payment for the sin of all humanity. He rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.
Acts 17:28 — the anchor verse of this entire franchise — was spoken in reference to the God who sent Him: "In him we live and move and have our being." This is not a metaphor. It is a declaration of dependence. We move because He sustains us. Every track on this project is an extension of that truth.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, indwells every believer at the moment of salvation, and enables them to live a life that glorifies God. The fire described in Jeremiah 20:9 — "a burning fire shut up in my bones" — and the rivers of living water in John 7:38 are both descriptions of the Spirit's work in the life of a believer. This is the theological center of the 1728 project.
We believe the Bible — both the Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God. Every lyric on this project is tested against Scripture before it is produced. The SOUND method documented on our Ethical AI Disclosure page describes this process in detail.
We believe that salvation — the forgiveness of sin and the gift of eternal life — comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is not earned by works, not achieved by effort, not purchased by performance. It is received as a gift from God through trust in Jesus Christ and what He accomplished on the cross.
This is why tracks like "More Than" (Romans 8:37) declare that we are "more than conquerors through Him who loved us" — not through us. The energy of this music is meant to serve that truth, not replace it.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead and the eternal life of all who believe. Jesus' resurrection is not symbolic — it is the defining event of human history and the foundation of Christian hope. "Breathe" — the final track on MOVE Vol. 1 — closes the album with Acts 17:28 directly, resting in the truth that even our breath belongs to Him, and that this dependence extends beyond death.
We believe in the universal church — all those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ across every culture, nation, and generation. The 1728 franchise is explicitly built for that global body. Each volume — US/Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa — is an expression of the same theological truth in a different cultural language. The body of Christ is not monolithic in its sound. It never has been.
1728 is non-denominational. It does not represent any specific church, denomination, theological tradition, or ecclesiastical structure beyond the historic, orthodox Christian faith as expressed in the convictions above. It is not worship music for a Sunday service. It is fitness music built on the conviction that the body matters, that what enters the mind while the body works matters, and that there is no arena of human life — including the gym, the road, and the training ground — where God is absent.
This project has no affiliation with any political party, political movement, or governmental organization. The views expressed through the theological content of this franchise are religious in nature and do not constitute political endorsement of any kind.
